Sculpture Park Anyone
My friend Natalie Schoof just got back from Seattle and was inspired by this new sculpture park. Check it out Jax. Look what could be possible on the St. Johns River if we had the funding and the follow through.
I mean come on. It only takes eight years to make one and collaboration between multi-million dollar corporations and art institutes to pull one off. I'm sure we can do that here right?
yeah. its a beautiful park. i really, really wish we could get jacksonville to do something like this (even one-tenth of this magnitude would be great).
i am sure it could be adapted on a lesser scale, and at the very least it could have local/ surronding artists contributions, for much less money.

true Brittni.
ReplyDeleteThe city should have a list of properties groups like ours could use for projects until the future of the lands use is decided upon.
