If this work was made today it could be in Juxtapoz. Amazing to think something can be five hundred years old and still relevant and actually semi-contemporary.

To me it's all about doing your own thing. Trying to break down boundaries and molds. Asking the right questions. To provoke dialogue. To learn something about yourself and the world around you. To force the viewer to think. Possibly for himself or herself.

If you can do that in a beach scene then you're a bad ass in my book.
