I just joined JaxCAL and wanted to share my latest painting entitled "Texas Border Rest-stop" 48" x 36" acrylic on canvas. If anyone remembers the Pedestrian Gallery near Five Points... it's been resurrected in a new location. Steve Williams' new space/gallery across from Bistro AIX is a perfect place for Juried and curated exhibitions. I am so excited at the prospect of having juried exhibitions because it gives exposure to new artists and artists whose work is considered too progressive or non-marketable. More info coming soon!

I love the piece. Nice composition and super color palette. I haven't seen your others, but will check out soon. Space across from AIX, is that where the old Spiller Vincenty Gallery was? That is a nice building. Either way, that's great news.

By the way is there such a thing as "too progressive"?

Thank you for the comments!
The address for the new gallery-
Pedestrian is 1535 San Marco Boulevard (not in the old Spiller/Vincenty space which was on King behind ReddiArts)Jacksonville, Florida 32207. Steve Williams is in the process of putting together a prospectus for (I believe) 3 consecutive juried exhibitions. Should be fun and interesting. Check out www.pedestrianprojects.com
