Poor Art House

and JaxCore... A car ran into the building that housed both of these places late last night. Apparently the man who hit the building was shooting at his wiife, who was in another car at the time that he slammed into the building. JaxCore's ceiling has collapsed and I am not sure the extent of the damage to Art House. Mia was/is having an art opening on August 31st...this sure is going to put a damper on things.

It could be used to get more press.
Art opening in spite of hole in wall.
The story itself would be intriguing
enough to catch media attention.
Juxtapose the violence of the city with the constructive artists of the area.

Truly, sorry for the accident.
Hopefully the shooter will have to
and can afford to pay for the damages.

yeah that's not good. it would have been awful if someone was walking by when that happened.

looks like the skate shop was destroyed almost.

Thanks Byron, Roman, and Mark - the support really helps! Add, the best way ya'll can help is by coming to our Art Run benefit at Art House on 8.31.07 from 7 - 10pm if you can -- as well as show some of your work here! Please tell your creative friends too. Its seems to me that Art House is trying to get sympathy and capitalize for what happened to the skate shop. Their place is gone and its doesnt even look like Art House was hit. Sorry but dont use that as a way to get people to your Art opening. Not cool at all.
